Abhishek Sharma, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Abhishek Sharma is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Pulastya Legal, where he leads the firm's Intellectual Property, Corporate & Commercial, and Technology Law practices. With over 20 years of experience, he advises Indian and international clients on protecting, commercialising, and enforcing intellectual property rights across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, licensing, technology transfer, and cross-border intellectual property strategy. In addition to his intellectual property practice, Abhishek has a robust corporate and commercial law practice, advising startups, venture capital funds, multinational corporations, universities, and technology-driven businesses on commercial transactions, strategic partnerships, investments, technology commercialisation, and cross-border business transactions. He is known for developing practical legal and business strategies that align with his clients' commercial objectives, risk profile, and budget.
Abhishek is also an Affiliate Faculty at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he contributes to legal education in the areas of intellectual property and international business law. A regular speaker at law schools, business forums, and industry conferences across India, he is passionate about mentoring young lawyers and sharing practical insights on intellectual property, commercial contracts, entrepreneurship, and the evolving intersection of law and technology.
Abhishek holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce & Technology from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center, USA) and an LL.B. (Hons.) from the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is a licensed advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi.
Mayank Sharma, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Mayank Sharma is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Pulastya Legal and oversees the firm's Delhi office. He leads the intellectual property prosecution department and manages the firm's debt recovery, family, and consumer-related litigation matters. Mayank began his career with a US-based IP law firm, where he filed and prosecuted Indian and US trademark and copyright applications. He also assisted in managing client relationships and business development activities. Mayank has also worked with one of the top-tier IP law firms in New Delhi, where he was part of the intellectual property prosecution department. With his extensive experience, he incorporates the best practices he learned from each workplace into Pulastya Legal. Mayank specializes in advising small and medium businesses on IP strategies and drafting various types of business agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
Mayank holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, affiliated with GGSIP University, Delhi, and is a licensed attorney in India enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. Mayank is also involved in his family-owned trust called The Big Hand Charitable Trust, where he contributes and aims to help those in need.
Vikram Nandakumar, Head - Growth and Strategy
Vikram leads Growth and Strategy at Pulastya Legal, where he focuses on building long-term client relationships, driving business expansion, and shaping the firm's strategic vision.
With extensive experience in consulting, business growth, and leadership, Vikram brings a people-first approach combined with sharp business acumen. His role is centered on strengthening client engagement, enhancing value delivery, and ensuring that Pulastya Legal continues to evolve as a trusted partner for its clients. He brings diverse experience from his role at a leading media production company in Bengaluru, where he worked closely with startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to foster growth and innovation, and from Infosys, where he gained valuable corporate and consulting exposure in managing processes and building client-focused solutions.
A graduate of Oxford College, Vikram plays a key role in aligning the firm's long legal expertise with innovative growth strategies, ensuring that clients not only receive legal solutions but also experience a seamless and collaborative partnership.
Aniket Amdekar, Head - Data Privacy & Protection
Aniket Amdekar is a seasoned cybersecurity and data privacy professional with over 19 years of experience in information security, cyber defence education, and AI risk management. He currently serves as a senior leader in cyber defence education, where he works at the intersection of technology, risk, and regulatory compliance. At Pulastya Legal, he co-heads the Information Technology Law practice.
He has previously worked with leading global organisations including Microsoft, Symantec, Walmart, and MakeMyTrip, bringing deep industry insight into enterprise security frameworks and digital risk management.
Aniket advises our cleints on data protection, cybersecurity strategy, and emerging risks in artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on building resilient, secure, and compliant digital ecosystems. His work bridges technical expertise with practical business application, helping companies navigate evolving regulatory and security challenges.
In addition to his advisory work, Aniket is an active public speaker and educator, contributing to awareness and capability-building in areas such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
Zeel Davda, Legal Associate
Zeel Davda is a corporate, commercial, and intellectual property lawyer with experience advising businesses on commercial transactions, intellectual property protection, media and entertainment law, and employment-related legal matters. At Pulastya Legal, she is part of the Corporate & Commercial and Intellectual Property practices, where she works closely with businesses on structuring commercial relationships and protecting their intellectual property assets.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Zeel graduated with a B.L.S., LL.B. from Pravin Gandhi College of Law, where she developed a strong interest in intellectual property law. Zeel advises clients on a broad range of commercial and intellectual property matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), licensing agreements, consultancy agreements, employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements and so on. She also regularly works with clients in the media, entertainment, and digital content industries, advising on production agreements, talent engagements, social media collaborations, and intellectual property ownership and licensing.
Known within the firm for her exceptional client communication skills, Zeel works closely with the partners in managing client relationships and ensuring seamless communication throughout legal engagements. She also mentors interns and junior team members, contributing to the firm's collaborative culture and high drafting standards.
Zeel is a licensed advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. Outside the office, she enjoys painting, travelling, and watching films.
Kiruthika Shankar Raman, Legal Associate
Kiruthika Shankar Raman is an intellectual property lawyer with experience advising clients on trademark and copyright prosecution, intellectual property enforcement, commercial contracts, and technology-driven legal matters. At Pulastya Legal, she is part of the Intellectual Property practice, where she assists businesses in protecting, enforcing, and commercialising their intellectual property rights.
She has previously worked with Wordict-IP and has interned with leading law firms and corporate legal departments including Dua Associates, Tatva Legal, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Northern Arc Capital, Keystone Partners, AGS Health, and Oscar Global Research Services. Through these engagements, she has developed experience across intellectual property litigation, trademark and copyright portfolio management, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and arbitration support.
Kiruthika advises clients on trademark and copyright strategy, intellectual property enforcement, online infringement, portfolio management, and commercial agreements, with a particular interest in technology, media, and innovation-driven businesses. She combines strong legal research and drafting skills with practical commercial insight to help businesses protect and maximise the value of their intellectual property.
In addition to her legal practice, Kiruthika has authored several publications on intellectual property, artificial intelligence, and data privacy, reflecting her continued interest in the evolving intersection of law and technology.
Koena Rayal, Legal Associate
Koena Rayal is an intellectual property lawyer with experience in trademark prosecution, intellectual property litigation, brand protection, and enforcement. At Pulastya Legal, she is part of the Intellectual Property practice, where she advises businesses on protecting, managing, and enforcing their intellectual property rights.
Koena graduated with a B.A., LL.B. from Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru, and has recently completed her Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), further strengthening her expertise in intellectual property law. Throughout her legal career, she has worked with several of India's leading intellectual property law firms, including Anand and Anand, Fox Mandal & Associates, K&S Partners, Holla Advocates & IP Consultants, and A.V. Nathan Associates, gaining hands-on experience across trademark prosecution, litigation, portfolio management, and IP enforcement.
She advises clients on trademark clearance, prosecution, opposition proceedings, enforcement actions, and brand protection strategies. Her experience spans the complete trademark lifecycle, including conducting availability searches, drafting examination report responses, counter-statements, evidence affidavits, and managing extensive trademark portfolios. She has also assisted in intellectual property litigation, anti-counterfeiting actions, civil raids, and court proceedings, providing practical solutions for businesses seeking to protect and enforce their brands.

Suhani Gandhi, Legal Associate (Trainee)
Suhani Gandhi is a Legal Associate (Trainee) at Pulastya Legal, where she supports the firm's Intellectual Property and Corporate & Commercial practices. She graduated with a B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from NMIMS School of Law, Bengaluru, and has developed a strong interest in intellectual property, technology law, and commercial transactions.
Before joining Pulastya Legal, Suhani interned with leading law firms including Aishani Partners, Fox Mandal & Associates, BananaIP Counsels, Khurana & Khurana, and Hammurabi & Solomon Partners. Through these experiences, she gained practical exposure to trademark prosecution, commercial contract drafting, legal research, due diligence, and intellectual property advisory.
At the firm, Suhani assists with trademark prosecution, contract drafting and review, legal research, and intellectual property matters, while continuing to build her expertise in business and technology law.
