Abhishek Sharma, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Abhishek Sharma is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Pulastya Legal. He advises Indian and international clients on protecting their intellectual property rights globally, with a focus on international trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, prosecution, enforcement, transfer, and licensing. In addition, he has a robust practice in corporate and commercial laws, including cross-border commercial transactions, where he assists venture capitalists, multinational companies, and startups in structuring deals, drafting agreements, and developing strategies that align with their business objectives. He is known for helping clients devise IP and corporate strategies tailored to their budgets and business needs. Passionate about shaping the next generation of lawyers, Abhishek is also a speaker at various law schools across India, where he shares practical insights on intellectual property, contracts, and the legal profession.
Abhishek holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce, and Technology from the Franklin Pierce School of Law, University of New Hampshire (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center), and an LL.B. (Hons.) from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGIPU, New Delhi. He is a licensed attorney in India and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi.
Mayank Sharma, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Mayank Sharma is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Pulastya Legal and oversees the firm's Delhi office. He leads the intellectual property prosecution department and manages the firm's debt recovery, family, and consumer-related litigation matters. Mayank began his career with a US-based IP law firm, where he filed and prosecuted Indian and US trademark and copyright applications. He also assisted in managing client relationships and business development activities. Mayank has also worked with one of the top-tier IP law firms in New Delhi, where he was part of the intellectual property prosecution department. With his extensive experience, he incorporates the best practices he learned from each workplace into Pulastya Legal. Mayank specializes in advising small and medium businesses on IP strategies and drafting various types of business agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and employment contracts.
Mayank holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, affiliated with GGSIP University, Delhi, and is a licensed attorney in India enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. Mayank is also involved in his family-owned trust called The Big Hand Charitable Trust, where he contributes and aims to help those in need.
Vikram Nandakumar, Head - Growth and Strategy
Vikram leads Growth and Strategy at Pulastya Legal, where he focuses on building long-term client relationships, driving business expansion, and shaping the firm's strategic vision.
With extensive experience in consulting, business growth, and leadership, Vikram brings a people-first approach combined with sharp business acumen. His role is centered on strengthening client engagement, enhancing value delivery, and ensuring that Pulastya Legal continues to evolve as a trusted partner for its clients. He brings diverse experience from his role at a leading media production company in Bengaluru, where he worked closely with startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to foster growth and innovation, and from Infosys, where he gained valuable corporate and consulting exposure in managing processes and building client-focused solutions.
A graduate of Oxford College, Vikram plays a key role in aligning the firm's long legal expertise with innovative growth strategies, ensuring that clients not only receive legal solutions but also experience a seamless and collaborative partnership.
Zeel Davda, Legal Associate
Zeel is a Legal Associate at Pulastya Legal's Mumbai office. Zeel was born and raised in Mumbai and she graduated with a BLS, LLB degree from Pravin Gandhi College of Law. When she discovered her love for intellectual property law, she joined our office as a Legal Intern and got to practice her theory that she learnt in the law school. She was instantly useful on many matters and it was no surprise that she joined Pulastya Legal once she graduated.
At our firm, Zeel continues to work with a lot of 'zeal' to develop her legal skills while handling tasks relating to IP prosecution, trademark monitoring and much more. She is also the de facto client communications expert at the firm and assists the partners closely with that task. She is a licensed attorney in India enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
In her spare time Zeel enjoys painting and travelling and is a movie buff.
Nidhi Naik, Legal Associate
Nidhi is a Legal Associate (Trainee) at Pulastya Legal's Bengaluru Office. With a robust academic background in law from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Nidhi has developed a strong foundation in intellectual property law, complemented by practical experience in IP protection, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
Nidhi’s professional journey includes corporate internships and she has spent substantial time at reputed IP law firms as well. These experiences allowed her to contribute to high-impact legal matters, conduct in-depth legal research, and engage in filing and drafting processes, further strengthening her legal acumen. Passionate about intellectual property laws, Nidhi has actively participated in national seminars and published work exploring the intersection of consumer protection and IP law in a globalized world.
At Pulastya Legal, Nidhi brings her meticulous attention to detail and a deep sense of dedication to her work. She is a licensed attorney in India enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
Vaishnavi Nair, Legal Associate (Trainee)
Vaishnavi is a graduate of B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from NMIMS School of Law, Bengaluru. She has interned with leading legal companies and had gained experience in contract management, intellectual property basics, arbitration, and corporate advisory for startups.
She has worked extensively in contract management and legal operations, where she gained experience in streamlining automation workflows, building efficiencies into lifecycle management, and performing detailed contract metadata abstraction to support compliance and decision-making.
At Pulastya Legal, Vaishnavi supports the team with a focus on trademark filing and prosecution, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, and assisting seniors on given tasks.
Deeksha, Accounts Manager
Deeksha is the Accounts Manager at Pulastya Legal, overseeing our firm’s financial operations with remarkable efficiency. With her expertise in managing all accounts and payroll requirements, she ensures that every financial detail is handled with precision and care.
Deeksha holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Mangalore University, India. Her strong academic background and practical experience help streamline the firm’s financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Deeksha is also a Karate Black Belt, demonstrating her discipline, focus, and determination in both her personal and professional life.
